How do I define Instructional Design?

The field of instructional design is up and coming and can prompt a lot of questions. Before diving too deep, let's look at how I define Instructional Design.

Instructional Design is the practice of creating innovative learning experiences and using educational technology. I work with clients and learners to extract their knowledge and preferences to create a meaningful, effective and engaging learning experience.
This leads me to designing and developing curriculums, resources, and materials that link to course outcomes, competencies and skills.

This can present it self in both business and in education.

Connect with me:
Throughout my time in Instructional Design and Technology at The University of Tampa I learned about so many resources that can aid us in our day to day lives so I want to share some of those that can benefit everyone.

This month I am showcasing Unsplash!
Unsplash is an online resource that sources and provides free to use images. They are supported by creators everywhere who send in their photos for free use. Most of us have just relied on Google Images to use in projects or presentations, but this is not really allowed without permission of the person who posted it. Unsplash offers you a huge database of free to use images.
